Best Road Bike Value
- A road bicycle is similar to a racing bicycle. However, road bikes are built more for endurance and less for fast bursts of speed, which is desired in a racing bicycle. They usually have more gear combinations and fewer hi-tech racing features.
- A motorcycle that meets the legal requirements for use on ordinary roads
- (Road biking) Road cycling is the most widespread form of cycling. It takes place primarily on paved surfaces. It includes recreational, racing, and utility cycling.

I am not sure about whether to ride around Melbourne anymore.. the roads here kinda suck for cycling.. They're narrow, as in Asia, but the speed limits for cars are fast as in the USA... and furthermore, they didnt bother to build freeways or "flyovers" for cars traveling greater distances (as in, um... I havent been to another country with this problem, yet) so ALL the cars share the roads with all the bikes.. and the drivers of those cars seem to drive with a distinct aire of impatience because, of course, they are not happy about having to spend 2 hours just to go 20km from one side of the city to the next...
Honestly, the worst roads of any country I've ridden in for cycling have to be in OZ. I can't see why so many people are into bike racing here actually...
weird irony that alot of countries with the best roads for riding/racing (Taiwan, Korea, for example) have the most under-developed riding and racing scenes... once again, you can't have your cake and eat it too... and culture and values have alot more to do with certain things than geography.
Anyway, it maybe just a case of "there's no place like home"... but this all confirms for me that the best place on the entire planet to live for bicycle racing is back at home in COLORADO, USA, around Boulder or Fort Collins.... good roads, good terrain, good racing/riding culture.. what more can you ask for?
‘Tour De London’
Road bikes are the most suitable to use in London traffic, commuting to work on. It’s not a perfect a illustration, it’s not my best piece, but I’m pleased with the overall ‘quirky’ result, tying in the style with the brown paper, representing organic values associated with riding a bike.
